Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie powstał z połączenia Akademii Rolniczej w Szczecinie i Politechniki Szczecińskiej w 2009 roku. Uniwersytet posiada 10 wydziałów z 60 kierunkami. Zatrudnia ok. 2 tys. pracowników, a studiuje na nim ok. 8600 studentów, 500 doktorantów i 400 słuchaczy studiów podyplomowych.
